so reagan died , huh?

...Can't really say that i'm sad about it .

When you think about it , his 'reaganomics' was just a deliberate plan to create an excuse to slash social safety net programs for the poor ...programs from the fdr , jfk , lbj "new deal" , "great society" and "war on poverty" eras .

reaganomics was simply the running up of huge budget deficits through big tax cuts...50 percent of which fell into the pockets of the wealthiest 1 percent of the nation ...while the poor were told to 'stand on their own two feet' and stop looking for government handouts .

i remember on a mid-western photo-op spin-tour , reagan was confronted by a group of rust-belt workers , recently unemployed when their paychecks suddenly vanished and their blue collar middle class standard of living evaporated when the owners shipped the factories and the jobs overseas in search of the good old days of sweat shops, no unions , no medical or retirement benefits , penny-wages and child labor.

the former rust belt workers , personal savings and unemployment funds nearly exhausted , practically begged president reagan for help , but all he offered to them was the advice that , "if there are no jobs , then you should move to cities where the jobs are" ...On camera , the astonished rust belt residents angrily shouted back to their President , "Move with what?...We have no money left !"

the reagan/bush heartless social-slashing , along with the bleeding of millions of manufacturing jobs out of the american heartland was combined with the staggering cost of a peacetime arms race against the phoney 'red threat' of a bankrupt , broken down soviet union...An enemy that turned out to have all along been more like the 'mexico of europe', than menacing global superpower .

despite 45 years of all the government and media hype about that 'glaring red menace' during the half century of the 6 to 10 TRILLION dollars cold war hoax ,it turns out they never wanted to fight us in the first place ...In fact they were scared that WE would preemptively attack them ...But the decades of peacetime military buildups made wealthy arms merchants ...even wealthier ...sort of like a corporate welfare deal for the weapons manufacturers notorious for overcharging the government...

reagan's administration deregulated the banks and led to the widespread unwise lending policies that fueled a feeding frenzy called "the savings and loan debacle" .

A crash costing the taxpayers 500 to 700 billion in government bailouts to the banks...in effect , a government safety net for bank speculators at the taxpayers expense .

The leveraged buyout and wallstreet gutting of corporations became another infamous economic trademark of the reagan years as "greed" became "good" and casino capitalism ...speculation on paper investments for the quick buck , became the way to wealth instead of earning money "the old fashioned way" by manufacturing tangible high quality goods for sale ...But the misdeed i'll remember the reagan era for most was the crack cocaine epidemics that swept through America as a result of reagan's CONTRAS dealing dope to american inner cities to raise money for reagan's illegal terrorist war against the sandinista regime in nicaragua .

crackdealers , crackheads , crack hoes , and crack babies nationwide should observe a moment of silence in memory of the passing of former president ronald wilson reagan .
