My grandfather was the noted Lint Shaw, correct spelling Lent Shaw. I agree with the apology not accepted quote. Also note that he and my maternal grandmother were the parents of 11 children, 5 sons and 6 daughters, one of which was my mother. Their 2 youngest children are still alive. Per family history there is proof that he was not guilty of the crimes he was accused of. I will stop here as I feel a lot of passion regarding this matter. I have family pictures of my grandfather that are very distinguished photos that we like to remember his as, not the lynching picture.

It was a despicable time in our history...and these people called themselves Christian. Reading this type of event stresses me also, for I lost most of my relatives in the holocaust. Enough said.
