freedman's journal cover 1828

i found this drawing of freedman ibrahim abdul-rahman sori at a website titled "WHO DID THEY REALLY SELL INTO SLAVERY" and liked the obvious character evident in the gentleman's portrait. apparently after regaining his freedom he returned to africa...

someone suggested that we resemble each other...i'm flattered at the compliment of course , but i couldn't really say if it's so... regardless , i like the pic so much i considered "borrowing" it if the good gentleman wouldn't mind...to use as the image in my own blog profile--in part because i consider myself a "freedman" of sorts...
